ARRL Triple Play award

I got mine confirmed late Saturday. Number 81. I caught HI on 80M CW early Saturday morning, worked the same station again on 80M RTTY just for good measure, and then he moved up to 40M and I worked him on SSB there. That left me with just a MT on RTTY needed. I set a sked with KA7HUO and at the appointed time, he met me on 40M and we did the RTTY thing. I knew there were going to be a lot a guys waiting in the wings once he was spotted to the cluster, so I had a mini ragchew with him just to make them squirm. Finally when we both signed, the pile up started and it sounded like a hurricane hit a wind chime factory! He worked several more, then move up to run phone for a bit. The last QSO I heard him work was my neighbor the next town over, Oscar, K9WKW, who fired up his amp Egor to make the QSO. A few hours later all 150 contacts were confirmed via LoTW, I submitted my application and late Saturday my number 81 showed up on the list of award winners.

TPA AWARD
It was really fun doing the ARRL TPA award first by myself with KC9ECI encouragement to do it, and then Tom and I had alot of fun again doing it with the club call.
super stations
Congrads on your WAS #81... how many hours operating you think it took?
hours
Pretty much every waking moment that I wasn't at work or elsewhere over the course of two weeks. John and I activated W9IDX and did it together as a club call in right around 3 days.
